1961 Leoville Las Cases – Wine Spectator – Issue: Feb 15, 1992: Although most observers find Las Cases to be among the least successful of the major chteaux in this classic vintage, this was big, rich and spicy, a mouth-filling wine with exotic, heady aromas and flavors that echoed on the finish. Still rough and sturdy, but starting to gain polish.–Loville Las Cases vertical. Best from 1995 through 2005.
